Saved prompts sit in the same menu as the built-in digests, and the good ones can be shared with everybody. See for asking in the first place. ## How do you save one? [#how-do-you-save-one] Type the question in the composer and press the **+** button. Give it a **Title**, and choose whether to **Share with workspace** or keep it to yourself. Titles can run to 120 characters and the prompt text to 1000. Save the question after you have refined it rather than before. The version worth keeping is usually the third one you tried, once you had added the comparison and the ranking. ## How do you reuse one? [#how-do-you-reuse-one] Type **/** at the start of an **empty** composer. A grouped menu opens with **Your prompts**, **Shared prompts** and the built-in **Digests**. Keep typing after the slash to filter, and use the arrow keys and **Enter** to pick one. **Escape** closes the menu. The menu only opens when the composer starts with a slash. Typing one after existing text does nothing, which is what stops it appearing while you are writing a normal question. ## Does picking a prompt send it? [#does-picking-a-prompt-send-it] No. It fills the composer without sending, so you can edit it first. That is usually what you want: a saved prompt is a good starting shape, and changing "last 30 days" to "last 90" before pressing Send costs nothing. ## How do you edit, share or delete one? [#how-do-you-edit-share-or-delete-one] Press the right arrow key on one of your own prompts in the menu, or click its **⋯** button. From there you can **Rename** it, **Edit** its text, **Share** or **Unshare** it, or **Delete** it. Deleting asks for confirmation and says it cannot be undone. Only you can edit, rename, share or delete your own prompts. A colleague can use one you have shared without being able to change it. ## What is worth saving? [#what-is-worth-saving] Questions that carry your business's own specifics, because those are the ones the built-in digests cannot know. * The comparison your trade is judged on, such as this month against the same month last year for a seasonal brand. * A question about one supplier or one category you watch closely. * The question you ask before a weekly meeting, so the same thing is asked the same way every week. That last one is the most valuable and the least obvious. A question asked identically each week produces answers that are comparable to each other, and a slightly reworded question does not. ## Should you share it? [#should-you-share-it] Share the ones that encode how your business thinks. A prompt that ranks by opportunity size, or that knows your season runs March to September, teaches everybody who uses it. Keep the ones that are personal working notes to yourself. The shared list is more useful when it is short. ## What is the difference from a digest? [#what-is-the-difference-from-a-digest] Digests are the seven built-in prompts, always in the menu and the same in every workspace. See . A saved prompt is yours or your workspace's. Clicking a digest starts a new conversation immediately, whereas picking a saved prompt fills the composer and waits for you.
